Our route today was from Cooke City, MT to Cody, WY. About 66 miles, 4,200 ft of climbing. The weather started out nice, but by the time we made it to the final mountain pass Dead Indian Mountain Pass (for the story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Indian_Pass) the weather had gone <50F and rainy, so we took a ride up the mountain with Bob and then continued the ride from there. Along the way though we had spectacular views of the valley along the Clark’s Fork Yellowstone River, and over the mountain out onto the plains surrounding Cody.
